Day 116 {wal-mart}

Today was pretty uneventful, just a quiet day at home. I didn't take very many pictures so I'll let my beautiful assisant fill in where photos were not available.

Jason planted a tree in our yard today. It's kind of like Kate Moss - when it's turned to the side you can barely see it. :)

We decided to go to Wal-Mart to pick up some stuff once the boys woke up from their nap. They went to sleep and I could hear Ava singing away in her room. Then I didn't hear anything. I found her asleep on her floor. She had curled up with the pillow and comforter from her bed. This is huge because she doesn't do naps and never has. Even as a baby all she had were little catnaps. (This is my favourite picture for today.)

Anyway, remember the garden we planted on

Day? I think it's on steroids:

Anyway, a little while later the kids (and Jason) woke up from their naps and we got ready to go. With the crazy Wizard of Oz like

from yesterday a distant memory, we packed up Rihanna (Ethan - left), Beyonce (Owen - right)

and Ava and headed out. Ava was thrilled we were going to Wal-Mart. Why the excitement you ask? Is it the free

? Nope. It's still all about the penguins.

Anyway, we got home just in time. Five minutes later it was

Did I mention we are now a

only family? Two weeks ago the boys said goodbye to formula and we are now contemplating buying a

for the backyard.

That's it! A pretty boring day but a good one. Thanks for looking!

Lol, love the photos of Ava with the cards! Great idea! And also a great idea to have a cow in the backyard, that would do for many interesting pictures... ;)

Jen, you certainly have a way of turning a dull day into fun! Love the use of Ava's cards and the fact that she would hold them for you. She must have been tired to have crashed for an afternoon nap! Think that my brother might have an extra cow. When would you like it delivered? ;) Really! I think he would part with one. Will make certain that it is child friendly and an easy milker ;) It would be black and white, is that okay?

So creative! I like the sleeping photo the best as well. There is just something about sleeping children that makes everything ok.
